Brennon Edwards is a full-time video producer in Los Angeles, but spends free time volunteering as a citizen scientist – using his drone. He’s contributing to a project of The Nature Conservancy of California, who are asking citizens to get involved with climate change in a very tangible and easy way. All citizen scientists have to do is use their iPhone or drone to take pictures of the impacts of El Nino on the California coast – like floods or erosions. The images, full of metadata helpful to scientists, are so valuable that they can indicate what effects climate change will have on our country in future years – and give us a chance to plan to adapt.
